Supermarket prices up!

Unite in AXA have issued a newsletter in the build up to the 2026 pay claim about the fact that food prices are increasing at a higher rate than CPI inflation. Please leave your feedback below or talk to your local union rep.

    Above RPI increase is required as wages not keeping up with costs, especially for those who did not get a “cost of living” pay bump/bonus 3 years ago.

    It is of note that corporates and local authorities alike are trailing and some are accepting, a four day week on the same pay.

    Whilst this may be, well is, controversial perhaps an offer of a condensed week where we are able to work additional hours to move to a four day week but still offer the full 37 hours.

    Just a thought
