When they say permanent, does that mean for every year going forward? If not what happens next year? An extra day off is great, but doesn’t pay the bills… Nursery fees, utility bills, fuel prices, insurance, council tax, groceries -everything is going up – apart from our wages!

Good Morning,
This is a good offer in regards to wellbeing but I thought like many other that this was a yearly pay negotiation and not a benefit one. If AXA are as committed to wellbeing as they mentioned after announcing the offer then a Wellbeing day should be offered in any event. I like many would benefit more from a pay increase to my salary opposed to a day off which to be honest doesn’t really equate to much and realistically doesn’t actually cost the business a penny if you think about it.
